Wow, it has been a serious while. I apologize for my absence. I have been pretty busy with my new job. Yush, I finally found a job~! It is not the most awesome job in the world but for me it is a good start either way. Doing early shifts, late shifts and 24-hour weekends for the loss though.
Me and my precious are still as happy as can be and we've been to a convention in Antwerp recently. It wasn't that big but there were a lot of Aikido demonstrations which were fun to watch with my precious by my side. The dojo on Sunday were better than those on Saturday if you ask me but I guess that's just personal preference. I also heard the Taiko demo again, I absolutely love Taiko. The music is so soothing. Just sucks that you need a whole team of players to create such a sound. I don't do so well in teams as has been proven in the past. x_x I bought the cutest Gloomy Bear plushie ever there. It's quite big and so adorable. Almost as squishable as my puppy~!
Thanks to my puppy we will be having pets soon. You'll never guess which ones though. FERRETS~! How awesome is that? I'll tell you all about them soon. They deserve a seperate post, don't you think?
Made in Asia 3
I went to Made In Asia 3 after all. I was feeling so bad but thanks to my precious puppy I got to go this year too. I seriously owe him so much. He stayed close to me and endured all my fresh air and bathroom trips with angelic patience. I think he did not get to see everything he wanted due to me. Kind of feel guilty but still so happy I got to go. Arigatou times a million to my precious senpai!
MIA is making more progress every year. I hope that once they reach their tenth edition that they can start to compete with the conventions in other countries. Kind of a proud Belgian girl here. Perhaps they can also implement more Flemish content instead of all the French in there. Almost everyone who attends actually thought our main language is French. Quite insulting if you ask me, if you want to speak French then go to France. Hmph.
My beloved senpai was awesome at his first convention. He cosplayed right off the bat as my precious silverpuppy. I think he did awesome! He really looked great and I am a sucker for his pretty hakama. Not to mention he actually wore a wig the whole day which is pretty admirable. I couldn't do it...at all. I got to be the lucky girl in the Vampire Knight uniform by his side. It was really fun dressing up and my Mokona backpack was even carried for me. I'm sure Mokona enjoyed that very much. He better not get used to it. Senpai is deshi property for sure! It is so fun doing stuff together ^__^ I can't wait until the chains come off and I can be with him more.
As usual I died a little inside (in a good way) since there were so many cute and cuddly items. I am happy I was able to restrain myself. I really needed to save money so I can buy some actual clothing instead of spending it on plushies and cosplay items. I already broke my own rules by purchasing Mokona. Pfff...I am weak when it comes to plushies. I need something to cuddle when my precious is not near. I can't help myself. They also had a lot of manga and anime, more than last year. Unfortunately most of it was in French. I prefer English or English subbed, Dutch if no other choice. But French, I don't think so. I does not support the use of the French language within Belgium! Someone start a petition to ban it?
The artists were pretty good this year. About the same level as last time but their prices went up a little. Nevertheless long live art where it does not matter which language you speak. There was one artist group named Belgian Cupcakes. I approve the name. I absolutely adore cupcakes, they are so cute! I always feel bad eating them x__x especially the cute little ones. When I am old I can maybe start creating my own cupcake recipes. Actually sounds fun. My favourite artist must have been the one who created this pretty aquarel-like asian painting thingies. I so want to get one of those to put on my wall when I get my own place. No use for them now.
There were also movie screenings, cosplay, contests and much more. Way too much to mention. I did spend some time at the MA corner which I usually just skip. Karate is pretty much the only thing I was interested in before but since my precious is an aikido/iaido/naginata/jo/istheremore lover I got to see a lot of martial arts. Was pretty fun to watch actually, especially when my precious joined the aikido session. He is so much better at explaining everything than the actual teachers were. If he ever has the ambition I would so push him to open his own dojo. The naginata kata looked really nice too. They should open a dojo closer by so my puppy would not have to travel to Brussel if he wanted to join. Stupid locations...
So I ended up having a great time with my puppy ^__^ I'm sure there is much more to tell and share but I don't feel like writing a whole book about it. For me I just got to spend a lot of time with my precious which is something no one else could have given me. I cherish our time together so much so I hope he had as much fun as I did.

MMORPG Chaos
I really have serious issues regarding MMORPG. I have played almost every fantasy MMORPG out there and I can't seem to stick to one. I just uninstalled Digimon Battle, Perfect World International, Maplestory Europe and Legend of Edda. Yes, those were all on my laptop and active. I am still debating on deleting some others that are still on my laptop. Digimon Battle was slow and repetitive and not enough customization. Perfect World is awesome but the whole quest system was driving me crazy. It also gave me killer headaches after playing for just half an hour. Maplestory Europe is adorable but very cash-shop reliant to unlock the full content. As for Legend of Edda, it was absolutely cute and up to my taste but I couldn't get over the fact that I couldn't change my camera angle. As you can see I am pretty picky.
I am just trying to find a cute MMORPG where the cash shop is not needed to be competitive. I would like to play a Priest. I love to play a support role but I'm tired of having to wait for someone to help me. Most MMORPG games rely on teamwork and socializing but my problem is I can never socialize. As a healer this is crucial because you need other people to do the killing while you keep them alive in return. I can never make friends who are willing to help me. Most people already have someone that plays with them so they don't need to look for partners in-game. Maybe the social Priest is not my class after all but I can't help loving to heal myself and other people right back up. You can usually find me in town buffing and healing new players and helping them get around. Sure, that is pure fun to me but it does not get me a spot in the hall of fame. Players only respect you when you are higher leveled. Maybe the whole MMORPG concept is not for me?

Shadow Era
I have been playing Shadow Era for a while now. It is a free-to-play online collectible trading card game. It is pretty easy to play but quite hard to master I suppose. You would need to adjust your deck and strategies constantly to keep up with new updates and cards. The card art is pretty decent. I actually like them a lot but most people think the art is not up to par with some of the more know TCG-games like Magic:The Gathering and Poxnora. Maybe they are and maybe they are not but I certainly think most people will prefer this art over the commercial Yu-gi-Oh, Pokémon and Bakugan cards.
This game has both pros and cons so I will try to list a few here:
PROS
- Nice card graphics
- Reliable publisher
- Avaible on multiple platforms
- Smooth gameplay
- Very nice music
- Suitable and easy-to-use interface
- Possible to obtain crystals through offers (for now)
- Obtaining crystals through leveling is possible
- Decent leveling curve
- Reasonable AI opponents
- Multi-player matches are possible
- Looks very nice on the iPad
CONS
- No multi-deck saving
- Low amount of gold per win
- No trading or gifting possible
- No auction house
- Repetitive
- Not being able to choose your opponent in the multi-player interface
- No weapons for Humans for now
- No full-screen browser-based option
- Lags on the iPod at times
I am sure there are more but these are the few that popped in my head right now. I started my game with the Zhanna Mist Priest Deck which was not bad at all for a starter deck. I usually play Priests in MMORPG so I decided to go with that. After I discovered there were wolves in this TCG I must have them. I recently managed to get to 100 Crystals and bought myself a Wulven Starter Deck. I am currently using Moonstalker.
Does he not look adorable? He is not one of the best heroes but since I am not aiming to do much multi-player games I could not care less. I just want to collect the cards I like ^__^ the only one I will be fighting against is probably my precious Senpai who is currently playing around with his new awesome Hunter deck. If you are new to TCG in general I suggest to try out this game. Easy to get started and fun to play when you are bored. I hope I will be able to play more soon but I have so much going on. A match between activities is pretty fun for now so let's hope I can make some progress.

Seifuku Love
The Seifuku are driving me crazy. For those not familiar with the Englanese terms (Seifuku, Chibi, Waifu, Kawaii, Desu, Ano, ...), Seifuku actually just means a school uniform. I've always been jealous of schools that actually enforced a school uniform. For people like me with zero fashion sense or an idea what looks good on me, those things would have been a blessing. I just like the look of a short skirt, shirt and jacket combined with some bows or ribbons. Sure, I might be getting too old to run around in a short skirt but I could not care less especially in the summer. I do not like the sun and the heat gets to me very fast so why not wear light clothing. It is not like I force other people to look at me. Either way Seifuku...
It's been a very long while since I did any costume play outside of the house. Not too sure if that is a bad thing or a good thing. Still not comfortable with crowds at all. Either way I should be expanding my wardrobe so I decided to commission someone to duplicate the Vampire Knight Seifuku. It is generic and about 5 out of 10 people wear it during a convention since it's easy and cheap but I like it so meh. I am even lazy enough to not duplicate it completely. I don't really like the brownish boots and long thigh socks Yuuki wears so I decided to scrap those entirely. The jewelry is pretty generic too, a rose and triangles? C'mon, even I can do better than that. (If I could even sculpt jewelry that is...) Don't really want to be associated with Kiryuu Zero or Kuran Kaname either. I only have one crush and all of it is directed towards my beloved puppy-sama.
So now I am just doodling a little trying to throw together a decent concept so the commissioner knows what to do. I was thinking of trying to put together a Mokona costume too, lop bunny ears seems fun to wear and hide behind. I'll need to save some more before I can afford the materials for that though. Due to that I'm currently trying to implement some flavour of Mokona Modoki into the VK Seifuku without ruining the original VK concept. Not going well but could be worse.
My beloved puppy is getting into cosplay as well ^__^ that is pretty awesome. I think he is about the only one who has not laughed at the concept of cosplay when I told him. With the neat clothing he has he deserves his own cosplay tribute x__x especially love the sweaters he has. Any kind of pants would look good on him too due to...well...he knows why his pants look good no matter what. I think he could pull of so much different characters due to his height and build. I will probably always prefer his original creations though, like he is trying to cosplay the Silver Puppy nows. If I had a Katana I would so name it the Silver Puppy. Do I have issues now?
Either way back to the drawing board with me x__x wish me luck~!

Muse and Senmon
I've been drawing a little since last time and managed to produce two new pieces. The first is my very own Persocom names Muse. I really do like her so maybe I'll be drawing her again. We'll see what the future brings. I must say the earclips were the most fun. I was planning to use the Chii ears first and just alter the colour but that seemed a little cheap. These are much more fun.
The second piece I did is one of Senmon. You might remember him from before. I did not really match him up against the original design back then, a little artistic freedom you could say. So I drew him again much closer to the original design this time, I think he still looks darn adorable. I'd trade in my soul for a beautiful plushie like that any day but luckily my soul already belongs to my precious puppy. Perhaps you can give it a good home?
That is all for drawings today ^__^ hope you liked these. All were made with Paint.net and my mouse. Tips and pointers are most welcome~!

Maplestory Evan Introduction
Since I have nothing better to do at the moment besides applying for jobs and doing the everyday chores and tasks I decided to try out a few MMORPGs I had not played yet. To be honest I was quite dissapointed. Either the game was too cash-dependant, had a rotten community or was just plain boring. Even though they are supposed to be 'new' MMORPGs I did not see any positive improvement. Perhaps the graphics look a little nicer but the gameplay is horrible, repetitive and very difficult to focus on. I have yet to find any new MMORPG that suits my fancy. To be honest I am not an easy customer though, I want my MMORPG to be free, constantly keeping players busy with events, cute graphics, an interesting storyline, different character classes, have some cute pets and I would love one where I can actually solo in. I have troubles making friends even in an MMORPG (sad I know) so I would like to be able play the game alone . These kind of MMORPG are hard to find though. I have played so many (36+) over the years but my absolute old-school favourite must be Ragnarok Online. I was planning on taking that up again but unfortunately they have turned into a P2P-type and the free official server has some awful downgrades that pretty much ruin the game for me. I am not planning to play on a private server either.
After searching around for a while I ran into Maplestory again. I don't know what I was thinking when I installed and booted it up again. The graphics are primitive 2D, the cash shop is required to keep up with everyone else and they have so many quests and maps that you soon get very confused and annoyed since your inventory is always full and you don't have enough storage room. I guess it is fine to keep me busy a while though. So currently playing Maplestory Europe on the Kradia server. The main reason for trying again is because eMS released a new class, the Evan to be exact. See the tiny video below for a quick peek.
They are a sort of mages who fight alongside a dragon to protect the world. The dragon and his master are bound through their soul and will protect each other to the end. I guess this reminded me of something and I thought the dragon was absolutely adorable. I am currently level 16 and fighting alongside my dragon who I named Sentaro inspired by my beloved Senpuppy. So far it's not too bad but I doubt the game will keep me busy for long.
Actually I am waiting for WeMade to step up their game and finally release Digimon Masters Online. I can keep playing the Korean version but translating the quests always takes me 5 minutes each and that adds up to a lot of gaming time needed to actually level up and obtain the Digimon I like. I am also easily distracted lately by my own health, the lack of an income and the annoyance towards my housemates. Thank the Goddess for a lovely soulmate who pulls you up and gives you a reason to keep battling everyday.
